Anna performed at Sexual Theatre in Zenica

Anna, written by Dragana Lukan Nikoloski and directed by Nina Nikolikj, was performed at the Bosnian National Theatre in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina, as part of the second Sexual Theatre – Feminist Readings of Classics international theatre festival, Umno reports.

The festival focuses on contemporary feminist readings of classic works, questioning gender relations, social roles and the position of women. Inspired by Leo Tolstoy’s Anna Karenina, the production explores love, family relationships, personal freedom and the right to make individual choices.

The guest performance continued Anna’s international stage journey, following its Grand Prix at the Golden Lion festival in Umag, where Maja Ljutkov also received an acting award for the title role.
